About Me

Everything you may care to know about my life, ministry, and more.

I’m JaSon Scott (Stasyszen)

I am a husband of over 20 years, father to five amazing kids, and a minister who has been privileged to lead worship and speak in churches and conferences around the world.

In 2003, God gave me and my wife, Andrea, a deeper heart for foster care as we became foster parents for the first time. We had always loved children, but being confronted with this need for these often forgotten children as well as orphans around the world, we feel compelled to do whatever we can to help these and those who support them.

Out of college, we moved to Alaska (where my wife grew up), eventually leading the church there we came to support alongside an amazing group of people.       It

was there we adopted three of our kids (two from Alaska and one from Japan). Being a pastor was an incredible and challenging experience that blessed us greatly.

In 2013, we moved and I am now on staff as worship pastor at Family of Faith Church in Shawnee, OK. Through the years I have recorded several worship albums, each miracuously provided for by God. Music and worship have always been impactful to me, a place of freedom and joy that I want others to experience for themselves.

Another passion of mine is writing. I wrote a devotional blog for a decade (2008-2018) before taking a break last year and restarting here in 2019. When we were adopting our son from Japan in 2011, I wrote a book to help fund our journey (What’s the Best that Could Happen?). I continue to write and have more books coming soon!
